For the last 2 months, I have faced crash issues in SketchUp when using the free or online versions. I used different computers and I spoke with the SketchUp Support Team however nothing works out. when I open a new model and start to add elements from Warehouse the program crashes or when I am online and I try to upload a model or again use the warehouse or import component the model crashes. before some months the program was running normally but nowadays i can not use at all. Somebody has any suggestion or idea what can cause this? Thank you
Maybe your graphics card isn’t up to the task…
Many models in the 3D warehouse are too detailed to be used properly in another model. So you should always import a warehouse model in a new SketchUp window to inspect if it is suitable…

Also upload the SketchUp file you are having trouble with.
Note that the online version has a limit to overall model file size. I understand that it is 100 MB.
There is no hard limit, it kind of depends on the browser’s ‘tab’ memory.
One can check the memory usage by tapping Shift+Esc:
This is a 300MB file.
Chrome standards tab memory is limited to 2Gb, which can be increased by adding some text in the shortcut:
Thank you so much for your reply. The size never was an issue before, but I will keep eye on it.
