Converting Revit, AutoCAD, DWG, IFC, etc. to Sketchup

Curious if anyone has found a nice way to bring other programs files into sketchup? From what I understand, if you have revit or autocad etc. you can export to particualr file types that will allow you to open in sketchup. I do not have these advanced programs. Does anyone have a work around for this? Or even what file type I should ask my architect, engineer, GC, etc. to send me so that I can open it in Sketchup??
Thanks!

SketchUp Pro can import DWG and IFC (2) already, and a Revit importer is in public beta.

Hi @ridgelineJohn,

As Anssi mentioned there is a public beta for a new Revit Importer.

…whoops! I also realize now I actually already had the IFC file converted and saved as a SketchUp model file. I think I was maybe trying to bring it into a BIMx viewer previously and thats what I had a hard time with? The IFC file I am using doesn’t come into SketchUp super clean.

Anyways… thanks everyone!
