I have created an architecture plan in Sketchup Make. Is there a way to import my 3d model into Sketchup Layout and get just a 2d floor layout of the plans or is this not what Sketchup Layout is used for?
First you need to be using SketchUp Pro, not Make. Then you can create scenes in SketchUp that show your plan and elevation views and use those to create your viewports in LayOut which is exactly what LayOut is for.
