Confirmation request - Report of Components with Instance names

Is it true that I/we can’t get the instance name for a DC in a report?

If I create a component and give it a instance name I see it back in the report generator result.
But if I make a DC then not.

Is this true and if yes a bug or do I missing something in this logic?

Is there a way to remove all the DC parts from a component to make it a none DC?

Dynamic component instance name

There is no connection between the “Name” attribute and the component other than the time it is used before using DC attributes. However the instance name will be reflected in both the option and dialog on insertion provided neither the “Name” attribute or the header of the attribute dialog has not been changed. I think you would need to fill in both the instance name and component name to keep them the same after any changes…
