Component goes invisible on import

Hi all,

I am wondering why when I import a component into another sketchup file it does not show up. Please see below…

Please supply the problem SKP.
Otherwise we are having to guess.

Meanwhile… some random ideas…

  • The objects inside the component’s SKP are all on a layer that is switched ‘OFF’ in the host model - perhaps with some incorrect usage of layers for raw geometry [that should always be assigned Layer0] - look at the Layers list and switch all ON to see it that helps…
  • The objects inside the component’s SKP are all Hidden - View > Hidden Geometry > ON to see them ‘dotted’.
  • The component’s SKP, or perhaps some components within it, has Geo-location set, causing weirdness…
