while the entity info and color informtional dialog boxes in default tray verify the correct color, the model does not reflect it. I’ve set shadows to sun
you’ll have to share the file here, we don’t have enough info on the screenshots alone, and since you’re replacing white by eggshell white, it’s not super visible

Thank you, ateliernab, for responding to my request. The copy located in the email is sample of the problem. You are correct to say “…replacing white by eggshell white…” and I used “paint brush” to apply the new color. I put the same color on each wall. however, the walls in the model appear to be different colors. That is, anyone can see the difference. One wall is a standard gray and the other wall appears to be white. Additionally, the “paint bucket” no longer changes wall color on the model while “entity info” indicates the correct color for each wall.
Also, sometime ago I noticed that the colors downloaded from the paint company did not appear to be the same color on the color swatches. The community indicated a setting for “Shadows” needs to be activated, and the box “Shade from Sun” selected. The check mark seems to change back to uncheck when I close the Shadow Tray. I’m assuming this is another problem and not related to color changes. Please advise.
Thank you again for your help.

You’re seeing shading which is making some faces darker and others lighter. You also don’t appear to have shadows turned on at all.
Ultimately, the color won’t ever be 100% accurate on the model down to the hex code. The reason is because it is shading, but also because you see a similar discrepancy in real life as well. Lighting conditions change throughout the day, and the color changes along with it.
shadows are not related to whether colours are visible on walls or not. it’ll change their brightness / darkness though. that’s why I’m mentioning you changing from white to eggshell, it’s close enough that with some shadow parameters, it might look identical.
and you didn’t share your file. you need to give time to the forum to upload it, if it’s too heavy, you can use a file sharing website.
To see completely unshaded faces, turn on “use sun for shadows”, turn shadows off, and set the Light slider to 0 and the Dark slider to 80.
