Click-move-click crashes SketchUp

I have had this iPad for a week (iPad pro 11 m4). Bought it exclusively for Sketchup. I was using the Logic Crayon at first but today switched to the Apple pencil pro. The Logic Crayon didn’t do click-move-click and that’s why I switch (after realizing that’s a feature I wanted). Everytime I use click-move-click with the Apple pencil it crashes. I can select tool but the instant I try to sketchup it crashes. Send help… Am I and Idiot?

I have the same setup, and no crashing. Could you use the iPad screen recording feature to show the actions you’re doing, that lead to a crash?

Can you also say what kind of drawing action you find that you can’t do with the Just Draw mode?

I’ve been using SketchUp with draw mode and so far it has not crash still only does it when using click-move -click

I see that it crashes as soon as you choose the tool. I am able to jump between tools without a problem. I will ask the iPad app team to take a look.

No it does not crash as soon as I choose the tool. It crashes as soon as I USE the

You moved across the screen so quickly, it looked like it had crashed on selecting the tool.

Yeah I recorded it twice cause the first time I went too slow and the file was too big so then I went FAST. I am also a bit of a donut so thank you for your patience

One suggestion from the team was about the Logic Crayon. If that is still connected to the iPad by Bluetooth, might it interfere with the Pencil Pro. I’m doubtful that it would, but you could try disconnecting it to see if it makes a difference.

I returned it to Best Buy the same day I got the Apple Pencil.
