Chamfer or Radius all Interior Edges

I used ‘Follow Me’ to to drag a profile around a rectangle. I have the desired radius on the bottom horizontal edges of the interior but also need to have a radius on the vertical edges.

Best way to accomplish this?

With SketchUp for desktop you could use Fredo Corner or Fredo’s Round Corner (both from Sketchucation) to do that.

If you’re using SketchUp for iPad or a web-based version, round the corners of the perimeter of the floor before creating the walls. Then you can use Follow Me to radius the edges as you did before.

Well, this is about as far as I could get. I just cant seem to figure out how I’d do a Follow Me on those interior upper and lower edges to add the radii. As much as I’m not a fan of application plug-ins (it seems like i already spend way too much time updating plug-ins, removing broken plug-ins and trying to stay on top of plug-ins in general, for many programs!) I think I’ll follow your suggestion of getting the Fredo Round Corner. We need radiused edges on pretty much everything we do.

Upper edge. I softened edges and then used Weld Edges. I also hid the outside face to make it easier to see where the radius is drawn.

Radius for the bottom is basically the same.

The extension will save you a lot of setup time, though.

And Follow Me cannot fillet, for instance, a cube so that all radiuses are equal. The extension can.

Thanks man. That’s the ticket.
I wish I knew now what I’ll know in three years.
