Chair material mapping

Hi,

I can’t solve this problem myself and can’t find answer on how to change the direction of the chair backrest texture so that wood grains runs horizontally. I tried using UV map, but it doesn’t work, and it won’t let me simply rotate the texture. The chair was imported from sketchup 3D warehouse.

What ‘UV map’ did you try? How? Is the texture applied to the faces or to the group containing them?

The link to the model is rather useful, so that it doesn’t have to be searched for.

I used sketchUV mapping tool.

Chair is a group, I open it and the apply texture to each face.

Sorry, my mistake, chair wasn’t uploaded from 3D warehouse, I imported it as OBJ model.

Using SketchUV, type Ctrl + :right_arrow: (arrow) for rotate. Or you can type an angle and hit Enter.
