I’m trying to use SketchUp Make 2017 on my laptop and it’s telling me I’m an expired Pro user and can’t switch to the free version like I used to be able to. There’s no option for me to switch.
It sounds like you installed SketchUp 2017 Pro instead of Make. If you did, it won’t revert to Make at the end of the 30-day trial period. It never did that even when 2017 was the current version. This is not a bug.You would need to have installed SketchUp Make instead. If you have a copy of 2017 Make you could uninstall Pro and then install Make. 2017 Make hasn’t been available from the official source for a long time but you might find an unofficial source if you search. Just make sure you trust the source.
