As far as I remember:
After a trial expires, You still got the splash screen promoting a Pro Trial version, but at the bottom, there is a single button “Start Using SketchUp”. Then you can still start use as Make…

Make works as Pro for the first 30 days, then reverts to Make, if you used the Make installer. And you can’t get 2017 Pro from the download/all page. So I think you already have Make.

That’s only true for the MAKE installer, if you downloaded the PRO installer, you won’t be able to convert it to MAKE after the trial period.

Now and for a year now, only SU Make 2017 can be downloaded from the official site. I assumed the installer has been downloaded from there… but you are right about the pro installer
