Cant save 2016 file to sketchup 8

Hello, I am trying to save a file that was drawn on Sketchup pro 2016, but as a sketchup 8 file format so that it can be used on a different computer with that version of the program. The file is 91 000 kb (not sure if that is large). Whenever I try to save it the program crashes.

Any suggesions on how to fix it?

Try purging unused stuff. Window>Model Info>Statistics. Then try Save as again.
