Ok so Im trying to keep myself busy through all this and have found some woodworking plans for a couple projects I want to do. The problem is that I cant open the file to view the plans. I can only view the final model. Im running the free version, can I only access the plans I if I have a paid version? Please help. Thanks
What plans are you talking about? Please share links so we can see what you are looking at.
If these are models from the 3D Warehouse, it’s not likely that they would constitute plans in the first place. They would typically just be a 3D model.
This is the extent of the model. There’s no real plan here. You could get dimensions off the parts if you want using the Dimension tool or the Tape Measure tool.
The fellow who made this also sells PDF versions of his plans on his website.

FWIW as I look closer at his website I see he’s referring to the SketchUp model as a plan. Personally I think that’s misleading but it’s his website.
