Can’t open my Sketchup pro 2022 on macBook Pro
Tried reloading form my account but still will not open
Can open old files but not a new one
Go to connect.trimble.com and sign in. Then try opening SketchUp.

I have the same type of problem with Sketchup Pro 2022. It opens and says sorry we are experiencing technical difficulties. I am a brand new user and just trying to get started. Hope this is just a bad omen.

Why are you just getting started with SketchUp 2022? Why aren’t you using the current version of SketchUp?
Was SketchUp installed correctly? on Windows that requires right clicking on the downloaded installer and choosing run as administrator.
What operating system? They’re all 64-bit now.
As I mentioned, I am just getting started. It is hard to know where to start. There are multiple programs to start with in my plan. . Sketchup 2024, Layout versions and a stylebuilder. I figured Sketchup pro 2022 was the place to start because maybe the Pro version has other features. What do I know about it , nothing. Just looking to get started. I build custom cabinets and am trying to move into the 21st century from old school methods. I have been in business for 30 years and bought a CNC machine as well as Mozaik software. I also need to know how to export from Sketchup in to Mozaik. This at the moment is very overwhelming for me. Me and computers are nor the best of friends.

The current version of the program is the place to start. That would be SketchUp 2024. Pro is the subscription type as opposed to Studio which includes more features. (SketchUp is the same in both Pro and Studio) A SketchUp Pro Subscription gives you access to the current version of SketchUp (2024) and LayOut as well as Style Builder, SketchUp Go (web and iPad), and a bunch of other stuff. I’m guessing from what you’ve written that you already purchased a Pro subscription.
I would suggest that you download the installer for SketchUp 2024, right click on it, and choose Run as administrator to install it. Then open SketchUp 2024 and sign in with the email address and password you used when you bought the subscription. You should be good to go from there.
That doesn’t identify the operating system. Is it a Mac OS or Windows 10 or Windows 11?

I can open Sketchup 2024 and all the other versions with exception to Sketchup Pro 2022. I did purchase the Pro plan.
Well, there really isn’t any need for SketchUp 2022 now, anyway.
If you’ve opened and signed into SketchUp 2024 and some other version (2023?) you would need to sign out of at least one of them to be able to sign into SketchUp 2022. You can only be signed into two instances of SketchUp at one time. That could be SketchUp on two different computers or two different versions of SketchUp on one computer.
I tried connecting to sketchup through Mozaik but it says it cannot find plug in for sketchup 2024.Can you help with this? I was hoping to design some base cabinet inserts in sketchup and install them into Mozaik.
Sorry. I don’t use Mozaik. You’d need to contact the Mozaik folks about that. Presumably they have an extension you would need to download and install.
