I have to open LayOut 2024 to locate existing files. They are not visible in 2025.
the recent files on the startup page ? that’s normal. they’re tied to layout 24.
these are two separate softwares, so while layout 24 will display all the recent files you’ve worked on, same with layout 25.
so until you open your files in layout 25, they won’t appear on the start page.
i can’t update the viewports of 24 in 25. is there a way to do it?

Not simply the splash screen, but also the file file directly. The file is saved only as Layout, with no version denoted. I solved the problem by saving the file with a different name in a different folder, and 2025 was able to see it.
