Can't dock the default tray

Tried all the usual fixes and it stays a floating window no matter what I do. SKetchup pro 2026 windows. Seems like others have had this issue, but no fix presented. Is this a known bug being addressed?

There are two icons on the center of the viewport, once is to dock to the right and the other one is for the left.

There is an issue that affects toolbars and may also affect tray windows.

There is a Qt bug with docking toolbars. It has to do with a Win system setting for “show window contents while dragging” (or similar.) I think if your system is set to only show the window outline, then it is difficult to impossible to drag & dock toolbars. See this post with screen snip by @dezmo … Also, same thread, Paul suggests that it is important where you grab the toolbar with the mouse:
