2024 unable to dock toolbars

After downloading the new 2024 Pro version I am unable to dock toolbars, they will only dock when double clicked and then only to the top of the screen.

Did you install SketchUp correctly? That requires right clicking on the downloaded installer and selecting Run as administrator.

Activate the ‘Show window contents while dragging’ option in the Windows Performance Options / Visual Effects tab.

(I edited the topic title, to find it more easy…)

Are you able to dock the toolbars on the right side of SU window ? I can’t. It seems to work fine on the left side, but I use a lot of tool on the right side of my screen and it would be a pain (for the workflow) to have to switch them on the left side.

You need to grab the toolbar close to the top left corner.

The issue is known to the SketchUp team.

Because the “hotpoint” is the top left corner of the toolbar – if you grab the toolbar anywhere else – you will never be able to dock to the right on a single monitor or the right on the right-most monitor of a multi monitor setup.
