I have searched the forum and don’t see anyone who has talked about this, so I feel like I am missing something.
In SketchUp 2024, on a PC running Windows 10, I can no longer dock the extension toolbars with the onboard toolbars. They are just floating.
Is there a way to dock these like before?
Yours is the first report I’ve seen about this. I have had no trouble docking toolbars in SU2024 on Win 10. What happens when you drag them to the toolbar area?
Nothing happens. It just floats over the top.
Maybe @colin would have some insight.
When you installed SketchUp did you right click on the downloaded installer and select Run as administrator?
Yes, and I just uninstalled and reinstalled it, and no luck.
I wonder what the issue is on your coputer. Clearly the ability to dock toolbars has not been removed from SketchUp 2024 for Windows.
Graphics drivers up to date?
Everything on my computer is up to date, and 2023 as buggy as it is still works better for me, so I am just going to uninstall 2024 for now and get on with my day. Maybe I will revisit it when I have time. As always thanks for your help.
