Can I merge two objects on sketchup?

There are two adjacent components in my model. To make it more aesthetic, I used 【shift+eraser】to eliminate lines where the two components meet. However, those lines show up from some perspectives in a lighter color. It seems the lines may show up in the dark areas and can’t be eradicated using this method.

So I am wondering wether I can merge this two components to eradicate the annoying lines. Does anyone happen to know how to do that? :thinking:

You have a face inside and that’s why you can still see that edge. Delete it.
