My program has been splatting every time recently and the error page that comes up after sending the report says there is a problem with an extension ( Skalp? ). All the solutions explain how to use the extension warehouse to disable or remove a problem extension. Kind of a catch 22. I need to open the program in order to be able to open the program. ??
It would be useful to see the exact error message…
Also report it to the author of that extension…
To save yourself [for now]…
In Windows find the folder:
C:/Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/AppData/Roaming/SketchUp/SketchUp 2017/SketchUp/Plugins
Then find the file in that folder which loads this problem extension - you say it’s “Skalp”…
It is probably a .rb file ?
The error message will clarify this…
Move that file elsewhere, or rename it as .rb!, so that it doesn’t load…
Thank you TIG. I got it to work, but that didn’t seem to be what the problem was after all. Somehow the wifi I have at my jobsite seems different that the wifi I have at home. I think it’s a problem with connectivity that the computer is having, not the program. Thanks for your help.
