Can I change a model from Imperial to metric?
Yes. In Model Info>Units.

But note that if you were designing in Metric, you might want to use rounded or whole numbers of mm or cm for your dimensions - e.g. 6mm instead of 1/4”, or 10 cm instead of 4”.
A simple change of units cannot by itself achieve this.

Are your models always starting out in imperial units? If so, is that what you want? There are metric templates and you could create your own template that uses metric units instead.
