HI. I just downloaded Sketchup 2021 to my Mac and opened it for the first time and it goes straight to Bug splat. Layout does open ok. Any ideas? I have sent report but not heard back. Thanks

I looked at the bugsplat report, and see what is going wrong. macOS has quarantined SketchUp for some reason. Have you always only opened SketchUp from inside /Applications/SketchUp 2021/? If it is currently anywhere else, can you open the installer DMG file again, and copy the SketchUp 2021 folder on the disk image to Applications.
To get SketchUp out of quarantine requires something to be done in Terminal. I will send a message to you with exactly what you need to do.
Hi! Thanks for the reply. This is the first time in a long time I have downloaded sketchup to this machine. I think 2018 was the last time, so not sure if any legacy files still in a folder that may be causing this? Yes I believe I always open it from /applications/SketchUp 2021
Previous versions won’t cause a problem.
