This is what I get with LayOut 2024 when I export to PDF with the viewport rendered as Raster.
I see the same black region when I render the viewport as Vector or Hybrid. You could turn off the Output Override in Document Setup>Rendering.
Strangely when I tried updating the SU reference directly, the viewport went mostly blank. I opened the SketchUp file and did my usual cleanup procedure. I fixed incorrect tag usage and purged unused content.
That reduced the SketchUp file size by 74%.
After that I replaced the original .skp reference with the purged version and I reset the style for the viewport. With the viewport rendered as Vector the PDF now looks like this:
I tried saving the file as a Version 22 LO file but I got an “Error 11” which @adam might have some comment on.
Here it is saved as a 2024 file. There’s no option to save as 2023.
Sem nome purged.layout (2.9 MB)
Error 11 indicates an issue with down-saving the SketchUp model(s) embedded in the LayOut document. What is confusing in this case is that down-saving to LayOut 2022 should save the SketchUp model as the current version. We only start down-saving SketchUp models when saving as LayOut 2020 or earlier, as 2021 is when the SketchUp model format changed.

Interesting. So is this a thing the user needs to deal with or is this a thing you folks need to address?
I would need to try to reproduce the error myself to determine, but error 11 is likely something we would need to address on our side. I do not believe that this error code is related to the rendering issues.

Thanks for that. Any idea why the OP is getting the black “hatching”? Is that related?
