Seems like FireFox 47 works on some machines where Chrome latest does not. (People with Intel HD 4000 graphics.) Weird because one of my test machines has no problem with Chrome latest on Intel HD4400 graphics.
The “canned” message can be misleading, and most often it is because old graphics chipsets do not support OpenGL ES 2.0 (which WebGL is based upon,) … not the browser.

… because it is a work machine, can you try:
If not, then in the Start Menu, go to
All Programs > > Accessories > System Tools > System Information
when it opens, expand Components, then choose Display.
You should see the information you can add to your profile, ie:
<Name> - <AdapterRAM> (<DriverVersion>)
