Baseboards at doorways, how to remove

Baseboard over doorway
In the Crown Moulding lesson of the Commercial Interiors course it shows how to create baseboards around a room using Follow Me. I’ve done that. However, the course video told me to simply erase the baseboard at the doorways.

I cannot do that because my baseboards have a curved top. I want online to find how to do it. She recommend using the Trim tool.

The video must have used a SketchUp version from before 2023. I could not find out how to access the Trim tool.

So, my question is, how do I access the Trim tool in SketchUp 2023?

Trim is in the Solid Tools Toolbar.

It is also in the Tools menu in the Solid Tools item.

If you want to try a second method, click in sequence on the scenes tabs of this SU file for ideas.

Maybe you will want to widen the space between the baseboard to clear more space if you are to add a moulding around the opening. If this is the case, simply push the end faces of the baseboard.
