Suddenly the background got completely grey, the ground and sky are gone. But if I look from below the axis lines the sky shows up everywhere. Any tips?
Can you share the model? That would be the best way to determine what is going on.
Without seeing the model, I would guess it is because you are in Parallel Projection… Seeing the transition from sky to ground can be tricky… Check the Camera Menu and see if Parallel Projection is on or Perspective.
