Assisting with exporting a Component

I have a cnc shop that is requesting a .dxf file for an individual component in my model. I have read the online assists. However, I do not see where I can “save as” or export.

Is there a step by step someplace. I am running “Go”.

For the moment, just save only the component you need in a file.

Perhaps I need to start farther back.

When I “save as” the entire model is saved with the new name I have put on it.

Is there a method to just save the component?

Delete the rest of the model leaving only the component you want. Purge unused stuff from the model and then save. If you do the Save as first and use the component name, then you don’t risk overwriting your larger model after you’ve deleted the everything.
