Hi all, I must be doing something wrong… I’m trying to round the corner of a square using the arc tool. The tool magenta preview looks correct, however, when I double click nothing happens. I must be doing something wrong? Thank you!
I was able to get into a state where a double click didn’t round the corner. To do that I put down a guide, like you have done, and then drawing an arc that happens to be tangent in the same location as the guide, prevented the rounding from occurring.
Do you get expected results if you don’t have a guide in that position?

In your model you start the arc away from the guide. It took some effort to get a guide to be at exactly the end point of the arc. It would make more sense to use a guide for the start of the arc. Then the rounding works ok.

Also, if the goal was to get an arc of a specific radius, you can leave out the guide, Instead:
- activate the arc tool
- click somewhere on the first edge to start the arc
- move the cursor along the second edge until you see the magenta tangent indicator and tangent to edge tooltop
- click on the edge while the tooltip is visible
- move the cursor back along the second edge inside the arc until you see the indicator and tooltip again.
- type the desired radius and hit enter
