I’m having trouble exporting an animation from SketchUp. I have multiple scenes set up, all with the “Include in animation” option checked, and I can preview the animation correctly in SketchUp. However, when I export the animation as a video, only the first 2 scenes are included in the export.
I’ve already double-checked my animation settings under Model Info > Animation to ensure that transitions and pauses are correctly configured, but the issue persists.
Does anyone know why this might be happening or how to fix it?
There is a bug in 24 specific to animations export on windows. As I understand it the developers are aware of the bug but a fix has not yet been released. Most reliable workaround I have heard of is to open the file in SU 23 and export from there.
Mostly I have seen that bug manifesting as errors in shadows or odd hidden object and artifacts appearing in the rendering. Not in simply failing to render scenes. I’m curious to see the file, it seems likely the bug might be to blame here but it’s possible there is something else happening? But if you’re sure all scenes are included, none have parentheses around the name, then I suspect the bug.
