Hi Community,
When I export>animate to mp4 the animation is different from the “Animation>Play” that I see on screen within SU. For example: the section fills do not show when it pauses at each scene in the mp4, but in the “Play” and in each scene section fills are shown. That one I can work around and make do. A bigger problem is that sections flick on in the mp4 while in play they smoothly build and animate. Here is the animation: Problem degraaf laundry 1
For example: At 13 seconds it shows a very nice shot of the outside of the bath wall though it should be hidden so that you can see the vanity the way it is at 21 seconds. The section is properly toggled in Outliner and shows correctly in “Play”. There are other dissimilarities as well but I think you get the idea. I am new to SU animation and open to any additional constructive help about the model in general. Thanks Everyone!
It is a bug with SU 2024 for Windows that was reported as soon as it was released. Disappointingly, they never addressed it all year (to my knowledge).
The only workaround is to use SU 2023 to export animations.
