Angle one piece between two points (board and batten doors)

Hi,

I’m making board and batten doors. I am wondering if there’s a way to angle this piece so that the top corner of it snaps to the corner of the vertical piece on the right. I eyeballed it to the position it’s in now, but would like to know if it’s possible to put it in the actually correct place.

It’s hard to describe but please see the picture attached.

Thanks!
Nate

You need to know where the upper side snaps to the diagonal, best to rotate it back to a sharper angle and make it a litle longer. Then use the Pie tool with the same center of the origin and starting from the upper left point. The second or endpoint of that Pie would be the upper side of the diagonal bat.

If you have made elements into Groups or Components, you can also use Solid Tools to do the trimming.

Always strongly advisable anyway, even if you aren’t using Pro but Make or Web versions.
