The share link does use a viewer that can show AO. We have a bug logged (SKOR-20672) for the issue where AO is showing above section cuts.

I think WebGL it is a very good alternative tu SU Viewer

Do you know of any tools built specifcally for viewing SketchUp models! We need to share our SketchUp models with builders, and Trimble Connect is WAY to clunky for the average Joe!
