Altering Dimensions

Hi,

My name is Eberhard Höll, a retired professor in sculpture, living outside Stockholm Sweden. I recently built a 3D printer and a small CNC mill. In order to get those machines going as soon as possible I started using SketchUp Pro. I find it it quite good, but there is a very annoying feature: as soon I want to alter measurements in the small box at the lower right corner I seldom get a proper result.

Any suggestions?

What sort of measurement are you trying to alter? How are you trying to alter it? You can’t just select an entity and type a new dimension for it in the Measurements window. And when entering dimensions, do not click in the measurements box at any time. If it is available for you to enter numbers, its background will be white and just typing will be sufficient.

Thank you Dave.It was my mistake using , as separator instead of ;. Now everything works fine
