Alt+R,Z only two alt combinations are blocked

Why only Alt + R , Alt + Z shortcuts inputs are blocked in SU2025?

Suddenly it dosen’t work at all. So Frustrating.

Those are not native shortcuts, you should´ve had added, just go to the preferences and search what action were those that you had assigned shortcuts. If they’re empty you can add them again. If the shortcuts were assigned to actions from the contextual menu, you must first select any element on the model space then go to preferences.

after you´ve assigned the shortcuts you can export them and save them wherever you want in your pc so if this happens again you just import them without having to assigning again.

Pretty sure they’re not saying the shortcuts are not allocated but that they can’t be.

A handful of combos are blocked by the OS, a few more by SU, but it’s not clear why.
Some were « made free to use again » in an update.

I’m on the latest SketchUp 2025 release and the latest Windows 11 update.

Alt + R and Alt + Z work for me.

SU ‘25 Windows 11, Alt + R = NVidia Performance Overlay on my machine. Alt + Z is GeForce Experience. NVidia settings?

Language settings / keyboard settings would be the first thing I check.

there you go. AMD software general shortcut has blocked those inputs. Thank you for your insight.

So you have an AMD graphics card and not the nVidia you list in your forum profile?
