Adding objects to layer to create dotted lines

I have added both objects to a layer but when i select dotted lines only the box reflects the changes ?

Impossible to be sure from a screenshot, but probably the lines in the group? on the right are on some other tag/layer than the “box” or the group itself. Raw geometry (edges and faces) should always be on Untagged/Layer 0.

Thanks for your help, just noticed it does says components (3 in model) so guess i need to separate them ?

Should i explode them or select edit component ?

Open each for edit, select all, and set the tag to “untagged”.
