Adding measurements to the Scale tool

Hi
Would it be possible to add a feature to the Scale tool to add measurements, like the Rectangle tool? Especially where we are changing the size for simple geometry for which we have previously entered measurements, e.g. line, rectangle. Would be very handy to use for furniture from the 3D warehouse as well.

This will save time and be more accurate instead of trying to do it manually or spending time to calculate the proportion to reduce/increase the size by.

Thanks for considering my request ! If there’s already a way to do this without the maths, I’m all ears !

The scale tool accepts measurements, just use the unit so it knows.

Open the Instructor Window (IW) with Window Menu → Instructor.

Choose the Scale Tool then scroll down and read the last paragraph. This works with one, two and three dimensions.

When done, you may close the IW.
