The images below show what happens, but I can not seem to get it to work. I have tried repairing and reinstalling, but have not had any luck

your first screenshot is normal. it says that your pin is currently off screen. if you click on the blue button it is moved on screen.
after that, you can add location, and (bottom left) it offers you to add terrain. and you get your second screenshot. but you’re missing the corner dots and pin. can you still change the area size ?
There should be a selection to add context in the panel on the left, which should bring up the selection pins.
When I click on the button, it doesn’t work. I don’t get a pin, and the message won’t go away. Additionally, when I try to add content, I can’t see the dots, and I’m unable to change the size or move it; it gets stuck.
@charles.burrowes It sounds to me like there is some issue on your computer getting/loading the parts of the web application.
It’s hard to know exactly what would cause this without access to the computer, but I can think of the following possibilities:
- ad blocker blocking download of some essential content
- firewall blocking download of some essential content
- embedded Chrome running out of resources. This could need a full restart of your computer to release
Which operating system are you running on?
If none of the above helps. you can open a support case and then we might be able to get some more details from our error logs to narrow down the cause.
