Actually, it *would* be nice to select the color of the back edges

I think it would be great if when editing a style I could select the color of the back edges.
That is all.

Seems like a simple request. It would also be nice if back edges (xray) could be visible in Layout with Hybrid.

Although I don’t use Back Edges anymore, I can see how this might be useful for some users.

I would take ring able to render back edges in vector before I could change the color… would be a game changer for me.

…what is this supposed to mean?

You can only see back edges when you render in raster…

Although that is rather easy to fake by overlaying a wireframe view with dashed lines on top of your hidden line view. But I agree to the FR.

This is what I do now in LO and prefer it to showing back edges because it’s easier to limit what is displayed with dashed lines.

Yes, but if one wants to be precise you can end up with graphic remnants that don’t look nice…

And it’s more monkeying around. I’ve really tried to get away from stacking viewports when I can. For me for shop drawings / framing drawings setting up a group of the framing with section cuts of the back side (to give the cut thickness) embedded in it and then in the main model the section cuts for the front side and back edges rendered in raster is the fast and easy setup.
