Actual Length not Matching Attribute Length

I am working on a DC with nested DCs within. One of the DCs’ actual length is not matching the attribute length. In the Attributes dialog the length is being recorded correctly. The children components are working properly as well.

This image shows the Parent DC and parameters.

This image shows the Child DC.

Before I added the Children DCs, the “Frame Long Front” component worked without issue.

I am attaching the file as well.

Thanks for any help you can provide,

go inside the component, then pull end surface to correct distance, then should behave after that

Thank you. Who knew it would be that easy of a fix. I have never encountered this behavior before. The other long frame component also has 2 children and didn’t display this behavior when I created it.

Thanks again,
Brad Bumgarner

True, it may have been a scale problem, triggered when altering the child without the parent in view within the attribute dialog. Similar to jump position behavior.

Best to edit a child with parent shown
