A request for M8 threads

A friend has broken some adjustable legs for her sewing machine extension table.

The leg is made up of a cap screw, a fixed leg, and an adjustable foot. There are M8 external threads on the cap screw and on the adjustable foot. The fixed leg has M8 internal threads for most of its length, excluding a 3mm deep counterbore at the top.

Can someone add M8 threads to my skp file? I’m using Sketchup 2017 and haven’t been able to do it myself. One issue I have is that I can’t seem to buy extensions that would be useful for this, like Curve Maker, Eneroth Upright Extruder, and Bool Tools 2.

If someone could modify my skp file to include the M8 threads,I would appreciate it.

I’ll do it Terry. I’ve already got a hunk of M8 x 1.0 threads. I’ll use it.

That would be great Dave. I’ve drawn as much as I could.

As soon as I get the model cleaned up I’ll send it in a PM.

We’ll have to talk about the extensions tomorrow.
