I’ve never seen such a suggestion, Simono. I don’t know why you think it would.
This is probably a crossed message. Until SU 2017 was upgraded to the 17.3.116 version, LayOut might fail to launch on High Sierra. SU 2018 includes the necessary changes and has no problem starting LayOut.
@slbaumgartner Thanks for the clarification. Sounds like I am safe to go ahead and install HS after wall.
@DaveR I was merely responding to the title of this thread but I now see that I jumped to the conclusion that it related to the new LO rather than V2017.
Is there any solution for Layout sketchup pro 2015?
I had this problem some months ago and decide not to update my macOS. But this week I decided to update my OS and I am having the same problem.
Update to SketchUp 2018 Pro.
There is no update for old unsupported versions to work on New operating systems.
Hi Dave. is there any other solution? I do not have money to buy a new license right now.
Roll the operating system back.
@DaveR is right. Trimble only very rarely issues patches for the immediately previous version and as best I can recall never for older versions. I don’t work for Trimble, so I won’t try to explain or justify that practice, but it’s what they have done as long as I can remember.
Mac OS updates since SketchUp 2015 was released broke various aspects of that version. If you must stick with 2015, don’t update to Sierra or High Sierra.
