I am getting this error when I try to start 3D warehouse from inside Sketch 2025
Error retrieving content
Could not retrieve the content requested. The error code was: ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED Please check and retry.
I have tried deleting the PersonalPreferences json file (lucky I saved it somewhere before deleting it)
I have deauthorised all devices from the Trimble account page.
Cleared cache and files from my default browser and tried setting a different browser as default.
I can however open the 3D Warehouse from the browser just not in Sketchup.
Any resolution greatly appreciated.
hello,
do you have a firewall activated or a VPN running ? disactivate if you do
if not, try to reboot your router or box
you can also clear DNS cache :
run a cmd as admin and type :
ipconfig /flushdns
Its a corporate machine so disabling a firewall is not really possible either from a local machine level or from a network / router level.
But thanks for the suggestion.
But you are correct in that it is a network thing as it works fine on my home network.
Like you say maybe the router firewall though I don’t know how I find out what ports it is using to poke some holes
Cheers.
time to go visit IT with a box of chocolates and a case of beer, maybe they can
find whatever port to open.

I have found that just going to the IT department and sitting there looking miserable until they take notice of you also gets you help faster than any “fill this form to open a ticket” stuff.

I am having the same issue.
My colleague has the same computer, on the same network, I’ve reinstalled… still not working.
Anybody else have this issue other than network issues?
