3D warehouse browser won't open

Hi,

I’ve got the latest version of SketchUp, but my 3D warehouse won’t open at all. If I navigate to “window” and I click on “3D warehouse” nothing happens. And through “file” and “3d Warehouse” the options sharing components and model is grey.

I did use it in the new version, but since a couple of days it’s gone.

Thanks in advance…

Have you used multiple monitors for your computer? The window may have been located outside your screen.

You can test what happens if you try to open 3D Warehouse and Immediately after press Ctrl+Space, arrow down, enter and then press arrow left.

The sketchup installation might have messed up
In this case just uninstall then reinstall sketchup
Before you do this check your computer for a virus
Some viruses randomly delete files in your computer including files in software

Hope this helps

Nothing at all? No window opens at all?

Go to Window>Preferences>Workspace and click Reset Workspace. Then try opening the Warehouse panel again. Does it open?

When you installed SketchUp, did you right click on the downloaded installer file and select Run as administrator?

It’s definately a multiple screen issue, I use multiple screens all the time. unfortunately I don’t have a second screen available now. And the keyboard combination you gave didn’t solve the problem. Resetting workspace didn’t help either.

Try this:

  1. navigate to “window” and click on “3D warehouse”
  2. Wait about minimum 3 sec. Do not touch anything. Do not move your mouse!
  3. Hold down the Windows key and repeatedly hit Left Arrow key until you see the 3D warehouse window

Second possible solution:
0.navigate to “window” and click on “3D warehouse”

  1. Hold down the ALT key. Hit SPACEBAR.
  2. Release ALT key
  3. Hit M (Move).
  4. Hit one of arrow keys
  5. Move your mouse around (without pressing any mouse key) until you see the missing window.
  6. Press left mause button on the desired place
