3d Model to 2d Layout Template

I think that I was mistaken - it looks like Im on a free trial of Sketch up Pro

Slow down. It’s getting hard to keep up between you two.

In SketchUp you create scenes which are basically camera positions showing the model. You determine what each scene shows. Then you send the file to LayOut and create viewports to show those scenes.

So with the free trail of SU Pro you will have access to LayOut until the trial period expires. Then you’ll need to get a license.

LOL - I can come back later - I feel like a I’m parched in the desert and I just found an oasis. I’ve been looking for answers and I think you have them.

FWIW, here’s an example of a simple LO file I made. I’ve turned off layers for dimensions, text, title block and other stuff. It just shows the viewports from scenes of the model. In many cases there’s more than one viewport using the same scene. Some viewports have the scale set to 1:1, while others are at some other scale. The completed document was then exported as a PDF for full size printing.
