Hei, I was wondering if anyone has done this before:
Having 2d trees in sketchup, and tagged them as shading within sefaira.
Is it possible that will affect the daylight analysis or is just a waste of time?

Hi @narducci.federico, the 2D trees will affect daylight analysis as long as you tag them as shading. However my recommendation would be to have them as triangular in shape rather than the organic outlines. The organic outlines need to be mathematically represented as geometry when running the daylight analysis and while visually SketchUp will be able to do that without a problem, Radiance and Diva (the daylight analysis engine running in the background for Sefaira) will have difficulty doing so.
