2026 Sketchup installed but device not recognized so cant log in!

I have a 2026 Sketchup Pro License which has been installed on my laptop, but I am unable to activate it as it says Authorize this device?

You are already signed in on three other devices. Would you like to clear those sessions and authorize this one?

I am not signed in on any other devices and have deleted the old version of 2022 Sketchup Pro. When I click Authorize - it then says Sketchup is having technical problems. I have had the same response for two days. How do I resolve this issue?

The message about technical issues can happen if there is still a deauthorized version of SketchUp open in the background.

Doing a restart might be enough to make sure nothing is still open.

I think you may be using a Mac. You could edit your profile in the forum to say what version of macOS you are using. It shouldn’t affect this problem, but the next suggestions people will give may be specific to Windows machines.
