2025 colors menu

Does anyone know if I can revert the colors menu back to the old view? These new cubes make it difficult to differentiate between similar textures/patterns.

You can’t revert away from the cubes (yet), but you can copy the 2024 materials folder into your 2025 materials folder. There have been several posts on the same topic:

You can copy material from old SketchUp installation to SU2025. Here is one way, to do it: Click to see the method:

Another easy way: Go to c:\programdata\sketchup\sketchup 2024\sketchup\materials Right click on the materials folder and then click on copy Now go to c:\programdata\sketchup\sketchup 2025\sketchup\materials and right click and then click on paste Now rename the folder you just passed in to something like Legacy Materials Now when you are in SketchUp 2025 and you go to the Materials Tray you can click on the Dow arrow and select the Legacy Materials folder and you will see the list of folders …

Ah! I hadn’t though of dragging the 2024 materials over. Thats a great idea. Thx
