How can I open file in Sketchup 8 that was after using in 2014. I originally made file in 8 but opened it in 2014 and saved it, now can not open in 8. Need to send that file as 8 to someone who only has 8
Open it again in 2014, then go ‘Save as’ and it give you the option to choose 8 in the drop down of the save window.

You’re welcome. It’s a useful feature, your can Save a Copy out as any version they want and send it off while retaining your original in the version you want.
