127.0.0.1 refused to connect error message

Cannot access SketchUp Pro 2024. While working on model a pop-up advised that I would not be able to log on after this session. I have a subscription that expires in 2/2025. The error message was “127.0.0.1 refused to connect”. I have contacted via email and was given a case #10742020.

I have no firewall. I believe this issue is a localhost error which requires validation

yeah, it’s a small issue that comes from time to time.

This was the thread that provided a clue and solution but I was not successful. However I believe it is linked to a firewall issue. Will still be searching. thx.

Update: Uninstalled DuckDuckGo as web browser.
