How do I create a raked gravel effect found in Zen gardens?

Probably the best way is to find a texture and use that. If you make it with geometry, you’ll dramatically bloat the file size. If you opt for the geometry, you could draw a shape with the cross-section profile of the raked gravel and use Follow Me to extrude it. work in sections as you would in reality.
Thank you… I’ve found the offset tool ideal for extending repeated patterns and filling sections with the material fill tool.
